Construction work is being carried out in order to implement the Viljandi Town Government project "Reconstruction of Viljandi Paalalinna School Elementary School" under the sub-activity "Funding of the Basic School Network in the Period 2014-2020" under the "School Network Gridding" administered by the Ministry of Education and Research. The goal is to fully refurbish and, as far as possible, to diversify the existing learning environment, in order to ensure modern working and study conditions for students, teachers and support staff, together with the existing infrastructures. The desire is to shape a well-functioning, integrated, integrated environment. The contracting authority has also set the objective that the compliance of the contract with the school building corresponds to the requirements of a low-energy building established by the Government of the Republic Regulation No 55 of 03.06.2015 on minimum energy efficiency requirements for buildings (energy efficiency in educational buildings must not exceed 120 kWh / m2a), and that the summer room temperature requirement in turn, the expected positive effect on the reduction of CO 2 emissions from thermal energy production. It is, therefore, also an environmental objective.
