The HAW has no central data center. In addition to the regional data centers to the remote locations of the HAW Hamburg, there are on-site Alexander Street, the Information Technology Service Center (ITSC) serving central support services for the HAW Hamburg. The task of the ITSC is the provision and development of all central IT services at HAW Hamburg - in close cooperation with the IT service providers in the faculties and operating units - as well as the IT supply of services and terminal equipment of university management, university management, operation units, staff units and Competence Center.
