Current adoption includes the work to implement the finishing and technical equipment of the new access road or "tangent" in Mechelen, which runs partly underground.

The tangent runs from the Brusselsesteenweg (near the flyover to Mechelen-South) until the N15 (near the Customs Square).

Current adoption includes the works of construction of a Bike-o-strade located next to the tangent between the Brusselsesteenweg and the N15.

These works include among others the construction of bicycle and pedestrian tunnels under the existing and newly constructed roads and two bicycle bridges (at the N1 and N26 at halt) on the tangent.

Current adoption involves the construction of a very large landscaped park that runs alongside the tangent from the N1 till the N15.

The adoption consists mainly of preparatory works, drainage works, roads, building structures, finishing works and technical equipment roads and tunnels, road signs, parks and green areas, ....
