Demolish and install a new HVAC System

A solicitation is to be released to demolish the HVAC System, boiler, ceiling grid, and interior lighting and install a new HVAC System, boiler, electrical components, ceiling grid, fire protection and LED lighting at Building1700 (AAFES BX).
Demolish entire B1880 HVAC System including condenser units, air handlers, ductwork, diffusers, return grilles, controls, electrical components, vent fans, and boiler. Demolish existing ceiling grid including fire protection and TS lighting. Install new energy efficient HVAC System in B1880 to include condenser units, air handlers, ductwork, diffusers, return grilles, controls, electrical components and vent fans. Install new boiler in primary mechanical room. Install a new 2' x 2 ' suspended ceiling grid with new energy efficient 2' x 4' LED lighting and fire protection throughout the building.
The Contractor is to provide all equipment, material, and labor to perform the following scope of work to demolish and install an HVAC system, boiler, electrical components, ceiling grid, fire protection and LED lighting at Building 1880.
Project location: Building 1880, NAS JRB, Fort Worth, TX 76127.
In accordance with FAR Provision 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of construction for this requirement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 with applicable size standard is $36.5 million.
Tentative date of solicitation release: 25 July 2016.
Estimated construction times: To Be Determined from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
Tentative closing date for Bids: 25 Aug 2016 at 1200 PM Central Time.
In accordance with FAR 6.203, this acquisition is to be set-aside for Small Businesses.
Contract type: Firm Fixed Price.
