The offer relates to the supply of electricity to Randers Municipality (hereinafter referred to as the contracting entity). The contracting entity has chosen a procurement method with an electricity trading company and an energy broker. The electricity trading company buys electricity at Nord Pool, or another similar electricity exchange, on behalf of the contracting entity and on behalf of the principal. The purchased electricity thus does not belong to the electricity trading company at any time. The situation can be compared with a commission relationship where goods purchased by the commissioner (the electricity trading company) in their own name but for the commissioner's bill are the property of the committee. The energy broker advises contracting entity for the correct timing of purchases of electricity. The contracting entity is aware that the winning bidder must cooperate with the energy broker.
