The acquisition concerns the bulk delivery of wood pellets for boiler houses in Roma, Tingstäde, Lärbro and off the island.
The Farsta district heating plant was built in the late fifties and is today serving as a peak load plant. Fortum plans to replace the existing boilers in the plant with one new oil fired boiler, HOB. The new boiler will be fired with light fuel oil no.1 (EO1). It shall also be designed for the possibility of firing Bio oil RME in the future. The boiler shall be directly connected to the district heating system. An economizer is not foreseen. Circulation through the boiler for the purpose of minimum flow and inlet water temperature shall be made with a separate circulation pump. The boiler is expected to be directly fired, without a flue gas fan. Combustion air shall be a mixture of indoor and outdoor air. No flue gas filter is foreseen initially.
The thermal rating is 95 MW fuel input. District heating temperature to the plant around 60°C and from the plant 115°C. Design data for mechanical design is Water side: 16 Bar(g)/120°C. The mechanical design needs to be selected such that the equipment is fitted in the available space in the existing building.
The dimensions of the available space are: With: 9,6 meters, Height: 14,6 meters, Length: 15,7 meters.
The boiler and flue gas fans shall be located within the available space.
The boiler will be installed during the first half of 2018.
Heat and electricity is mainly produced by combustion of domestic and industrial waste in five steam boilers of 270 MWth together.
Boiler P6 (91,2 MWth, 31,8 kg/s, 59 bar(g), 480 °C), a fluidised bed boiler (CFB) for industrial waste was put into operation in 1999. The economiser will be changed during revision in summer 2017 including new casing and sooting system. Dismanteling of old economiser, design, manufacturing and erection of new economiser together with new casing and sooting system. The company should have documented good economy and the two latest annual reports should be submitted. Registration certificate and a certificate from tax authorities showing that all tax obligations are fulfilled should also be submitted. The technical capacity with competence to build similar economiser with sooting system. Function delivery of economiser should be proven and described with valid references not older than 5 years should be included.
The assignment includes transport in covered and leak proof vehicles, bulk vehicles and transportation of AB Fortum Värme co-owned with Stockholm's own askcontainers. The following ashes to be loaded and transported: slag from waste incineration plant, Högdalenverket about 95 000 tonnes / year (covered transport). Bed ash from the boiler 6, Högdalenverket about 18 000 tonnes / year (covered transport). Aircraft and bed ash from Värtaverket about 40 000 tonnes / year (bulk transport). Slag and fly ash from Hässelbyverket 2-3 000 tonnes / year (covered transport) and a small number askcontainers from various production sites in the Stockholm area, extent about 100 tons / year. All the ashes are classified as non-hazardous waste. The ashes currently shipped to reception centers in the county. Bidders must pre-contractual hold a license for the transport of non-hazardous waste. The mission is divided into two items where bulk transport is a mail and flatbed transport and containers are another item.
AB Fortum Värme city has signed new transport contracts of the ashes of a series of production facilities in the Greater Stockholm area. Deluppdraget include the transport of bulk vehicles.
