The Oklahoma City VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK has a requirement to Upgrade Electrical Substation #3,
The contractor shall upgrade the electrical system at the OKC VAMC. Included in this project is the furnishing and installation of a new 15 kV, main-tie-main switchgear to be supplied in a pre-assembled house. This new switchgear will be fed from existing Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E) switches. The metering point for the OKC VAMC will be just ahead of the new switchgear. The existing OG&E transformers will be removed and returned to OG&E and two new, VA-owned transformers will be supplied to replace the existing. The new transformers will be downstream of the new switchgear. The contractor will be required to work closely with the OKC VAMC and their support contractors to cutover power from the existing configuration to the new configuration. A new enclosure will be erected around the medium voltage house, the new transformers, and the existing photovoltaic house to provide security and access control for the enclosed equipment.
In addition to the new medium voltage gear, a new 480V main-tie-main substation will be furnished and installed. A new duct bank will be installed from the new medium voltage gear to the new Substation per the project drawings

The small business size standard is $15.0M. The construction cost range for this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000,00. This procurement action is being set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns pursuant to 38 U.S.C 8127 (d).
Award is restricted 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business to be eligible for award the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following websites: www.ccr.gov; www.orca.bpn.gov; and www.vets100.vets.dol.gov . Those desiring to receive an award from this solicitation also must be registered at www.vetbiz.gov
Companies must have the Certified Veteran Enterprise (CVE) seal on their registration to be considered for an award.
