The works shall comprise of all aspects of reactive maintenance for void maintenance and adaptation type items provided on the associations behalf to residential properties of varying tenure, e.g. sheltered, general needs, shared ownership. The contract will require 24 hour coverage over 365 days per annum with the provision of cover required in all aspects of trade. Typical works to be carried out under the reactive maintenance contract will be void electrical and gas safety testing, deep cleaning, waste disposal, painting, internal and external joinery, plumbing, gas engineer, electrical and builder work repairs etc. The awarded contract will be for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further two which will be at the discretion of the association and subject to performance criteria.

The team should include an Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Structural Engineer, Principal Designer and input from a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to provide all the necessary professional services to deliver new mixed tenure affordable homes across East Dunbartonshire.
