The Contract is for the provision of Electrical Works at Bangor and Holywood SERC Campuses. The proposed works will include • to retain the existing fire alarm system cabling and containment throughout the Bangor college where possible and upgrade to category ‘L3’ system via new sensors in corridors and wireless system where required in all other areas. There will be an element of out of hours working; • Carry out modifications to the existing electrical installation and specialist services to ensure compliance with current Building Regulations. This also includes replacing existing switchstart luminaires with LED type to allow for lighting control while retaining existing cabling and for new CCTV system at Holywood SERC • The proposed Contract period will be 7 weeks commencing February 2017 with completion by 31st March 2017. • Works will require the Electrical Contractor to be NICEIC registered and hold all relevant certification
This Invitation to Tender (‘ITT’) is being made available by Choice Housing Ireland Ltd for itself and their operating subsidiaries and South Ulster Housing Association Ltd for itself and as agent for Craigowen Housing Association Ltd (each a ‘Client’) to those Organisations (‘Tenderer(s)’) who have applied to tender for the contract for the maintenance, and repair of the two Client's Properties (the ‘Contract’).
Tenderers should note that, whilst it is the intention of the two Client's to evaluate collectively and award any tenders received in response to this ITT (‘Tenders’), each Client will enter into a separate Contract with the appointed Service Provider.
It is a requirement that no differential Rates can be applied for similar Works to be undertaken by the Service Provider regardless of location or volume of Works to be undertaken, and quantities of Works common to the two Clients have been aggregated for the purposes of tendering Rates.

— Major Works including, but not limited to, any design, installation, construction, repairs, maintenance, renewals, reinstatement or replacement Works or Works of improvement in respect of but not limited to structural components, roof coverings, fascias, bargeboards and soffits, rainwater goods, windows, external and communal doors, fire safety works, retrofit and energy efficiency works, external paving, fencing and other environmental components;
— Kitchens and bathrooms, including, but not limited to, any design, installation, construction, repairs, maintenance, renewals, reinstatement or replacement Works or Works of improvement in respect of kitchen and bathrooms renewals;
— Electrical heating installations, including, but not limited to, any design, installation, construction, repairs, maintenance, renewals, reinstatement or replacement Works or Works of improvement which may include renewal of electric storage heating installations;
— Electrical rewiring to Properties including, but not limited to, any design, installation, construction, repairs, maintenance, renewals, reinstatement or replacement Works or Works of improvement which may include electrical rewiring;

The contract is for the Design and Construction of the new Erne Campus for the South West College. The project is to be constructed on the former Erne Hospital site at Cornagrade Road, Enniskillen. The project will include full construction works, mechanical and electrical services, external and site development works including upgrading the existing site access. The facilities will be designed and constructed to achieve BREEAM outstanding and PassivHaus Premium standards and certification. The Contracting Authority have engaged an integrated consultancy team (ICT) to develop designs, obtain planning approval and prepare the contract documents. Clanmil require the services of a M & E lead consultancy team for assistance in the delivery of Fire Alarm, Emergency and Communal lighting upgrades in schemes across Northern Ireland with works to be complete by 31st March 2017. The appointment will be for a period of 12 months for any additional works required outside the original scope. Works included : - Fire alarm upgrades - Emergency Lighting upgrades - Communal lighting upgrades In the delivery of this contract to a successful completion the successful consultant should comprise as a minimum the following disciplines with all constituent team members holding as a minimum current professional membership (or other equal and approved) as identified below; - Mechanical & Electrical Engineer – Chartered member of CIBSE - Quantity Surveyor (chartered member of RICS) - Principal Designer2016 (member of RMaPS) If other disciplines are required, it is the responsibility of the successful consultant to include for same within their fee submission.
The Contract is for the hire of inland waterway vessel(s) and crew with appropriate plant, equipment and unifloat pontoons to undertake work activities on the tidal River Lagan and its banks between Stranmillis Weir and the cross harbour Motorway Bridge. The contract includes, but may not be limited to the following activities:- 1) Dredging to remove small quantities of material from the river bed that may cause obstruction to navigation; 2) Maintenance work to the stone revetments and banks of the river; 3) Lifting and maintenance work to the in river elements of the aeration system; 4) Maintaining and moving floating pontoons; 5) Power washing of quay walls; 6) Maintenance works of grab chains on the quay walls and other safety devices; 7) Removal of large items of floating debris such as trees; 8) Electrical works /maintenance of lights and control gear on the cross river road and rail bridges; 9) Provision of attendances to contractors engaged on maintenance work to Lagan weir. 10) Provision of attendances to contractors engaged on inspection, testing, environmental surveys and repair of bridge. The quantity of work may vary depending on the nature of the issues to be addressed and the Employer reserves the right to use other Contractors as necessary for larger scale works of a similar nature.
