1. The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) intends to establish a long term contract for the provision an in-house Technical Skill Training on Electrical Systems and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HAVC) Systems in Juba and Torit, South Sudan as stated herein. 1. Introduction: The objective of the Technical Skills Training is to equip UNMISS personnel with technical skills required to ensure efficacy gains and effective service delivery. The resultant contract is expected to be for an initial period of one (1) year with an option to extend for an additional period of two (2) years of one (1) year each. Contractors must have the capacity to provide the services requested 2. Requirement: The course shall be provided for a targeted number of 25 participants and to be conducted in two batches in Juba and Torit (South Sudan). The recommended duration of the training will be a maximum of 5 (five) working days. 3. Topics of the Training (minimum requirement): Basic Circuity training, Safe working method on electrical system, use of electrical test equipment, electrical symbols & interpretation and types of electrical systems. 4. Conditions As a mandatory requirement for UNMISS, before submitting their EOI response, interested service providers are required to be fully registered as a supplier in the UN Global Marketplace (UNGM) using the link below: https://www.ungm.org/Public/Pages/RegistrationProcess a) Interested service providers are strongly encouraged to upgrade their registration at level 1 or above in UNGM by the time of submitting EOI to UNMISS. b) The Institution must be registered for this particular service in UNGM (UNSPSC Code: 86101705; 86111600; 86101800 and/or 86132100). c) UNMISS Procurement Section shall reject any EOI that does not contain the final UNGM registration number as it will be considered as non-responsive.
