For control and monitoring of its runway and taxiway lighting systems, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol [AAS] uses of a control and monitoring system, hört based on a server / SCADA system. The current airside control system [BSA-I] and the linked Addressable Light System [IF] are of major Importance to the proper flight processing operations at Schiphol. Both systems will have Reached the end their fiduciary technical service life by 2015 and will need to Therefore Be Replaced by a new single, integrated system, combining the IF and BSA functionalities into a new ALCMS. In order to turn this into a reality, SNBV has started up its ALCMS project, Which Aims to put the ALCMS out to a design, construction and maintain Contract.
