The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations intends to award a contract for special services, specifically:
“Supply and installation of lighting fixtures and sensors for corridors and common areas at FAO Headquarters, in Rome, Italy”

The site-visit is a mandatory requirement to participate in this tender. All companies willing to participate in this tender will be invited, during the course of the tender, to visit the areas involved in this project to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the areas and the existing conditions. Site-visits will start on Wednesday 12 November 2014.

Bidders are requested to send their best offer bearing in mind that the full amount of the work will include:
lighting designs in the form of blueprints including calculations;
proper disposal of existing equipment including lamps/fixtures;
supply and installation of new LED lighting fixtures and sensors;
testing and trial period of the new system and production of technical drawings;
"as-built" drawings in CAD format; and
replacement of broken lights/fixtures at no cost to FAO for the duration of the payback period, starting from the point of installation.
Bidders are reminded that their bid must also include the addition/replacement of electrical circuits or any modifications of the respective electrical cabinets (for example with DALI sensors).
