British Embasssy Paris, France - Chancery Office Refurbishment

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office wish to invite interested construction companies to tender for a significant opportunity on the Chancery Building of the British Embassy, Rue du Faubourg St-Honoré Paris. The project will deliver a refurbished office building that provides modern 21st century working environment for staff. It involves a level of structural alteration to the building, internal remodelling and redecoration throughout and the complete replacement of all electrical services within the building. There is the opportunity for a partial decant of staff, but the project will be phased and elements of the building will need to remain operational at all times during the project. Although being undertaken in France, the project will be expected to substantially comply with UK building regulations. A suppliers day will be held at the Chancery in Paris on Wednesday the 25th of July, and a UK suppliers day at King Charles Street on the 31st of July; each lasting around 90 minutes to discuss elements of the project with the client and Design Team. Nemo Link is a HVDC submarine power cable under construction between Richborough Energy Park in Kent, the United Kingdom and Zeebrugge, Belgium. By providing essential electrical and furniture items, the scheme is designed to assist the most vulnerable citizens in meeting their short-term needs and to promote their continued independence within the community. The Service Provider will source, deliver and install the approved electrical and furniture items to those citizens classified as eligible for crisis support. The Provider will prioritise the delivery of second-hand items and provide additional support to local communities. Items include Fridge, Fridge Freezer, Oven, Mini-Oven, Microwave, Washing Machine, Single Bed Base, Double Bed Base, Bunk Bed Base, Cot, Single Mattress, Double Mattress and Cot Mattress. The Service is available to all citizens in the Local Authority who meet the Crisis Support Scheme's eligibility criteria. The City invites Tenders for the provision of a electricity and gas supplies, across the City's Corporate, Investment Property and Housing portfolios. The Authority require a contract to include both the Half Hourly and non-Half Hourly meters, for a 3 year period commencing on the 1.10.2018 and based on a 30 day BACs payment terms with no requirement for credit mitigation. The settlement of the contract is to be based on a minimum +/-20 % annual volume tolerance with a 3 year fixed shape fee. The management fee should also be fixed for the contract duration. A flexible contract is required to allow the Authority to purchase the commodity costs via OTC (over the counter) pricing through traders at Mitie Energy's Risk Management Team. Options around ability to fix / unfix, purchase at day ahead indices, and reforecast volumes will be required. The Authority have plans in the future to source electricity via third party renewable generators and require a supplier who can show experience of the ability to provide contract structures that will allow the renewable energy, and other embedded benefits to be sleeved intothe supply agreement; in addition to the Authorities requirements around Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs),they also require a supplier who can provide them with REGO (Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin) backed renewable energy from the start of the contract, and to be able to reduce the percentage of REGOs throughout the agreement if the Authority choose to sleeve these in from a PPA at a later stage.
