NGVL and ENDK (the ‘Employers’) are jointly developing an HVDC interconnector between the United Kingdom and Denmark (the ‘Interconnector’). This notice concerns the award of one or more contracts for the detailed design, engineering, procurement, manufacture, installation, construction, testing, commissioning, spares provision, operational handover and maintenance of an interconnector between the UK and Denmark.

The procurement is structured in 7 lots consisting of:

1. lot 1 — HVDC MIND Cables underground UK.

2. lot 2 — HVDC MIND Cables submarine UK.

3. lot 3 — HVDC MIND Cables submarine NL & DE.

4. lot 4 — HVDC MIND Cables submarine DK.

5. lot 5 — HVDC MIND Cables underground DK.

Two HVDC cable poles over a total route length of approximately 55km, forming part of a connection between two HVDC converters (UK and DK) and capable of delivering 1400MW at the receiving end, excluding the underground civils works, as more fully described in the Tender Documents.

Tenderers' submissions must include Transition Joints (as defined in the Tender Documents) to adjacent cable lots allowing interconnection of a final end-to-end solution.

Submissions must include detailed delivery plans/programmes clearly demonstrating how production and installation will be achieved to ensure full commissioning of the Interconnector by December 2022. The Contract also includes a warranty and maintenance period of a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years.

In relation to upgrade of the HVDC link KontiSkan 2 at substation Vester Hassing, delivered by ABB Ludvika 1987. The converter transformers for KontiSkan 2 need to be upgraded to increase the lifetime of the transformers of further 20 years.

Energinet.dk wants to initiate negotiations regarding KS 2 — Converter transformers upgrade for substation Vester Hassing.

Purpose:

In relation to upgrade of the HVDC link KontiSkan 2 at substation Vester Hassing, originally delivered by ABB Ludvika in 1987. The converter transformers for KontiSkan 2 need to be upgraded to increase the lifetime of the transformers of further 20 years.

Main deliveries:

The main scope of this tender is to purchase and replace 6 400 kV AC site converter transformer bushings, 6 valve site converter transformer bushings and one neutral converter transformer bushing.

In addition to this, the tenderer shall supply the offer with separated prices for option 2 for:

— 1 extra AC site converter transformer bushings,

— 1 extra valve site converter transformer bushings,

— 1 extra neutral converter transformer bushing.

The tenderer is to supply a supervisor to have responsibility for the complete transformer upgrade.

The services include:

— Repair of Core Clamping in one of the transformers.

— Regeneration, pumping and storing of transformer oil.

— Replacement of gaskets, oil valves (smaller than 2”) and flanges on the transformers and the cooling system.

Expected time schedule:

Delivery of the transformer bushings for the first converter transformer is August 2017 and for the second converter transformer is August 2018.

Installation of transformer bushings and services for the first converter transformer is September 2017 and for the second converter transformer is September 2018.

Energinet.dk's main task is to maintain the overall short-term and long-term security of electricity and gas supply. Background: DONG Energy Thermal Power is building a new district heating production plant (SKV Wood Chips) based on two wood-chip boilers, providing steam for existing steam turbine and/or standalone bypass heat exchanger. The two boilers are envisaged as an add-on to the existing gas fired plant, Skærbækværket. The new biomass fired boilers shall deliver up to 320 MW heat to the district heating system. It is envisaged that the new boiler plant shall have a capacity of maximum 280 MW and the remaining 40 MW will be provided by flue gas condensers. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) equipment: The add-on plant shall be equipped with new emergency power system, UPS and batteries. The emergency power system shall be with full redundancy and placed in separate electrical operating rooms. New main distribution of emergency power system will feed the different contractors sub-distributions, such as boiler and bag house. New emergency power system will be separated to the different contractors sub-distributions, which will be placed in near vicinity to their Works. New emergency power system is planned to be placed in an electrical building at/in the boiler house. The final design of the new emergency power system is not set. Alternative solutions regarding the interface, up- and downstream, of the new emergency power system are investigated. Feed of the UPS will be from the new low voltage distribution, 3-phase 50Hz 400/230 VAC. Prospective short current levels for the new main distribution of low voltage switchgear are Ik > 50 kA. The following values are valid for the distribution of low voltage emergency power system, with earthing system TN-S: — Emergency power distribution 400/230 VAC. Electrical operating rooms will be arranged with measures to control the environment and will be fitted with installation floor.
