The project aims to control the content of selected chemical substances in electrical and electronic products aimed at children and young people. Most electrical and electronic equipment covered by RoHS, which means that the products must not contain lead, mercury, cadmium, chromium VI and brominated flame retardants. The selected products must also be checked for nickel release. In addition, the selected product is examined for the content of added flame retardants, i.e., besides the two flame retardants specifically described in RoHS.
