The council is intending to procure four new service to be operational from September 2018 through 4 lots as follows:

— Primary Alternative Education Provision

— Secondary Alternative Education Provision

— Student and Family Support Service

— Hospital Education and Reintegration Service

At this stage it is anticipated that there will 4 lots — 1 for each of the services outlined above, but this is subject to the outcome of the consultation exercise.

The Council is seeking some feedback from the market regarding the structure and scope of these contracts and would like to invite interested parties to complete a Market Feedback Questionnaire which is available at https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk/

The Council are also holding a market engagement event to provide more details to interested providers on 14.12.2017 at 11:00. The event will be held at The Guildhall, High Street, Bath, BA1 5AW. To register for the event please email: cs_monitoring@bathnes.gov.uk.

— Secondary Alternative Education Provision to provide full time education for pupils with behavioural, social and emotional needs and those permanently excluded from school permanently excluded from school

— Student and Family Support Service to support pupils and their families with reintegration into school following a managed move, fair access or period outside of mainstream school

— Hospital Education and Reintegration Service to provide education for children and young people who are medically diagnosed as unable to attend school because of health needs and for those who are hospitalised.

The Provision of an International Foundation Year.

The University is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced provider to deliver the International Foundation Year programme commencing in the academic year 2016-17. The provider will be required to deliver the foundation programmes for international students intending to progress onto a University degree programme. The provider should focus on recruiting across the University of Bath subject portfolio and provide access to markets that are more difficult to reach in terms of both disciplines and nationalities.

Staff training services. The University of Bath invites expressions of interest to supply learning and development services to University staff (including professionals, academics and researchers) and postgraduate research students, in 1 or more of the following general areas;

— Leadership and management,

— Effective working skills,

— Skills for research practice,

— Skills for Public Engagement,

— Skills for University teaching,

— IT skills for software used in research data management and analysis,

— IT technical skills training,

— Career development for researchers.

— Health, safety and well being

Successful tenderers will have proven capability of designing and delivering events and programmes for a wide range of staff in a knowledge-intensive environment.

They will have demonstrable ability to work effectively in the UK Higher Education environment, across the very broad range of people who may be participants. They will be able to work in English as a main language and to travel cost-effectively to Bath and neighbouring institutions for meetings and day events.
