The mission regards an evaluation of Norwegian support for education in crisis and conflict through civil society in the 2008-2016 period. The evaluation will assess and document the results for the target group and will seek to identify factors that contributed positively or negatively to the achievement of objectives, with a view to providing information to decision- makers on how support can be organized in the future. The evaluation shall also identify any unintended effects of the support, positive and negative.
In connection with the rehabilitation of the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (NIH), shall be purchased new equipment for physical education halls. Education Directorate has approximately 300 employees in Oslo, Hamar and Molde. In 2016 got directorate new strategy, we are working with new head platform and associated employee platform tailored "Corporate governance in the state." Furthermore, we are working to establish and implement a system of strategic competence management.
Directorate of Education is working systematically with skills development for their employees. We have several employee development programs that we have developed ourselves and which relate to the employee himself, understanding roles, system understanding, change measures mm. We have previously had any leadership development program for the entire management team overall, and it has been implemented leadership development in several of the Directorate management teams. Senior Management Group has started with leadership development for senior executives in state in Difi. We are now working to systematize the various measures our in line with the new strategy, management and employee platform and as part of competence management, but also the increasing demand for management and collaboration as changes in the public sector requires. It involves flipping that we will see employee development and leadership development in context, and have clearer context in the line of individual development to teams and larger groups.
In some areas we will periodically have a need for higher capacity or other expertise.
