DTU offers every year many international students are welcome and in doing so offers DTU a course in Danish language and culture within the semester. The course is funded by the students themselves, but DTU will be responsible for registration and the related administrative work, incl. residence and collecting tuition.
DTU is an independent university with education, research, research-based
advice and innovation. The university's main activities are anchored in 19
institutions, a national laboratory for sustainable energy and 8 others
University units. DTU's head office is in Lyngby about 10 km from
Copenhagen. The teaching of the students takes place primarily at DTU Lyngby
Campus and DTU Ballerup Campus and also consists of DTU Risø Campus in
Roskilde, as well as a number of other sites on Zealand and Jutland.
The university has about 5,000 employees and 10,000 students. In addition to
current general move tasks connection. relocations, renovations, new buildings
held at DTU every year around 200-300 of larger or smaller events;
Annual Party, Open House, graduate receptions, Green Battle, reception receptions,
intro events, conferences and congresses, Ph-D receptions, anniversaries,
Friday bars, student activities, Christmas parties, parties for students and
employees as well as many other types of events. Many of these
events are recurrent and DTU expects to tenderer exhibits high
level of experience, expertise and flexibility in the performance.
