The University of Giessen is planning as part of the Higher Education Pact 2020 investment phase III (2016-2020) the new construction of a greenhouse complex in the Botanical Garden (downtown campus). For this is a part of the existing greenhouse facilities, which is in a relatively poor structural and technical condition are dismantled and new greenhouse space to expand the potential for use for teaching areas are built. The Botanical Garden is a cultural monument iS the Hessian Monument Protection Act. The new construction of the greenhouses should be based on the original plant and is intended to include the following items:
1. New direction of a hot house with recreation zone in the region of current warm house as replacement building
