The framework agreement is being procured under the Light Touch Regime.
It is the Council's intention that new providers will be able to apply to join the Framework on an open basis on the same terms and conditions and on the same criteria as stated in the Invitation to Tender, unless the Council deems that amendments are required as a result of changes in legislation or changes within the Council. The Council reserves the right however, to close the framework for new applications if it deems this appropriate.

The Health Service Executive (on behalf of all Publicly Funded Health Agencies) invites proposals from suitably qualified Universities and Higher Educational Institutes (HEI) including Institutes of Technology for the accreditation, delivery and evaluation of a Level 8 National Foundation Education Programme in Critical Care Nursing for approximately 600 Nurses based on an agreed curriculum developed by the Critical Care Nurse education steering group.
The figure of 600 is not a guarantee of the actual numbers who may undertake the programme.
