The anticipated award date is 08 Apr 2016. Please do not request award status prior to this date.Justification for Sole Source:All old Wheelock Amplifiers and Local Operating Consoles (LOC's) need to be replaced with up-to-date Notifier equipment in the 229 complex. The existing Mass Notification System installed in 229 (Wheelock Amplifiers and Local Operating Consoles) is not compatible with newly renovated areas of the 229 complex (Notifier Equipment). In the event of a localized real world situation, personnel in some areas (All of 229 Central) of the 229 complex cannot hear mass notification messages originating from the GCC or VCC. These messages, if not heard, could potentially put lives at risk. The new Fire Alarm/Mass Notification equipment was installed by AFA Southeast Inc. and is presently under warranty. Any modifications to the Fire Alarm/Mass Notification System by anyone other than AFA Southeast Inc. will void the warranty. Based on this, competing this requirement will not yield any competition that would be able to uphold the existing warranties. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation (current through 2005-87 dated 07 Mar 16 and DFARS Change Notice 20160226):FAR 52.204-7 System for Award managementFAR 52.204-13 System for Award Management MaintenanceFAR 52.212-1 Instructions to OfferorsFAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and ConditionsFAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-- System for Award Management.FAR 52.247-34 FOB DestinationFAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by ReferenceThis solicitation incorporates one or more solicitaion provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
