This is an amendment to the original synopsis which was posted on 16 April 2015 and ended on 15 May 2015. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a new order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-13-G-0010 on a sole source basis with Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (RIDS). This effort is for the procurement of engineering support for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Sonar Transmitter/Receivers (ST/Rs) delivered during the AN/AQS-22 Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) production effort. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to RIDS, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirement;" because they are the only qualified source which possesses the requisite knowledge, experience and technical expertise to provide the required supplies and services.
