The Lead Consultant will need to comprise of landscape architectural & architectural design expertise together with all other associated disciplines necessary to take forward the development elements of the project. In addition the Lead Consultant or their appointed sub-consultant is required to undertake project management, community consultation and engagement through to submission of the Round 2 bid. This includes preparation of the final application form. The successful consultant may also be retained, (subject to a successful round 2 HLF bid) for final design, project management and contract supervision for the delivery phase of the project. As such the tender is split into two distinct lots. The development contract will commence on 18.6.2017 and terminate on 1.3.2018.

The contract will commence on 12 February 2015 and terminate on 31 March 2018.  A preferred supplier list will be formulated from the successful suppliers who will be selected in order of the most economically advantageous tenders submitted.

a.           Swale Borough Council are desirous of appointing a Construction Manager (CM) for the construction of a new community hall at Great East Hall Sittingbourne. The CM will be required to join and work alongside the Client’s Consultant Team comprising the following members:

b.      The design is being progressed and will be nearing completion when the CM is appointed. The CM will therefore assist in reviewing design coordination and advise on trade package coordination and procurement.

c.     Included in this document is the Planning Pre-Application prepared, by the Consultant Team, for your information.

d.     The Client’s Cost Consultant will provide quantity surveying services as set out in the document herein entitled ‘CM Cost Consultant Duties v2’.

 e.     The CM is to provide construction management services as set out in this document, including the provision of site preliminaries and principle contractor duties.

 f.      The CM is required to complete the CM Fee Analysis with aligns with the CM Specification included within this enquiry.

 g.     All trade packages will be appointed direct with the client – the CM is required to provide a fixed fee for providing CM services set out in this document and will not be permitted to add overheads and profit to the value of any trade contract.

 h.     It is intended that the works should be complete by March 2017 and it is anticipated that the CM will advise on programme and procurement”.

 i.      It is intended that interviews of prospective CM’s will take place on 22nd December 2015. Please ensure the staff you intend to assign to the project are available to attend the interviews.

All providers of Adult Hearing Services must ensure that there are local arrangements for referral into more specialist medical services in line with British Academy of Audiology (BAA) Guidelines for Direct Referral of Adults with Hearing Difficulty to Audiology Services (2016 — currently in draft) and British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA) Protocol and Criteria for Referral for Medical or other Specialist Opinion (2011).

The purpose of the Adult Hearing Service is to ensure:

— Equitable access to high and consistent quality care for all people using the service;

— A safe hearing service that conforms to the accreditation standards set out in the Improving Quality In Physiological Diagnostic Services (IQIPS) Accreditation Scheme;

— The service should also recognise published clinical guidelines and good practice

The CCG will have regular performance meetings (quarterly) with accredited AQP providers to review performance of the service. Please note that as this is an AQP there are no guaranteed or indicative volumes of activity within the contract.
