Aberdeen Harbour Expansion Project -CDM_PD

Aberdeen Harbour Board | Published August 5, 2015  -  Deadline September 7, 2015
cpvs
151100, 221100

Aberdeen Harbour Board’s operations are restricted by the size and shape of the port and its location at the heart of Aberdeen city. These constraints increasingly impact on the ability of the harbour board to provide adequate facilities for current and predicted traffic and the client has commissioned feasibility studies to identify the potential for new port facilities near Aberdeen. This feasibility study has been developed to produce a single preferred location and layout for the additional harbour facilities and this option is currently undergoing extensive modeling to verify feasibility designs and shall be the basis of procuring tenders from suitable contractors. Aberdeen Harbour Board have engaged an interim CDMC service for the feasibility stage and now require to appoint a Principle Designer in compliance with the CDM Regulations 2015. Consultants are invited to provide fee proposals for the delivery of the Principal Designer Role based on a Design and Build Procurement Route, (Negotiated) and the Brief and Required Scopes of Service outlined within this document.
