Theconsulting services ("the Services") in the districts include formation, mobilization and capacity building of PTSMCs, regularimplementation of project interventions in coordination with relevant stakeholders, including EDS&QA Firms to ensureconstruction activities under the project are going onsmoothly. The GPE-BEP now invites eligible consulting firms ("Consultants") toindicate their interest in providing the Services for below mentioned regions. Interested Consultants should provide informationdemonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The short listingcriteria are a) Corporate Capacity (Core businessand years of experience in same business for at least 10 years); b) At least five(5) similar assignments completed in last five years indicating the nature and scope of these assignments; c) the staff involvedand employed; d) availability of appropriate skills among staff; e) experience of working under similar conditions. General Procurement Notice GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Country:          Islamic Republic of Pakistan Project:            Governance and Policy Project forBalochistan Grant No.:        P156411 The Government of Balochistan (GoB) is about to receive financing in the form of grant for an estimated amount of US$ 16million from Multi Donors Trust Fund (MDTF). The funds shall be administered by the World Bank towards the cost of Governance andPolicy Project (GPP). The projectintends to apply a part of the proceeds of this grant to eligible payment for goods, relatedservice and consulting services to be procuredunder this project. The overall objectives of the Balochistan Nutrition Programme for Mothers and Children (BNPMC) is to improve thenutritional status of children under five years and that of pregnant and lactating women by improving the coverage of effectivenutrition interventions with a priority focus on malnourished amongst the poor and other disadvantaged, including women,nutritionally vulnerable groups, ethnic and religious minorities, and socially marginalized occupational and settler groups inseven (07) districtsnamely; Panjgoor, Nushki, Zhob, Killa Saifullah, Kohlu, Sibi and Kharan of Balochistanprovince. As part of the Project, the services require development and implementation of aCommunication and Public Information Campaign for improving nutritional behaviors and practices, witha focus on the importance ofimproving maternal nutrition as well as infant and young child feeding practice, The social and behavior change communication will be targeted to various audiences. The task includes the development anddelivery of a defined and effective package of services focusing Social and Behavior Change Communication (BCC) for various targetgroups.
