Trondheim municipality is announcing tenders for the delivery of an energy follow-up system for 8 years.

The system will be used by a number of different user groups, from school pupils and teachers to operational personnel and energy consultants. The functionality requirements are high, however, as the primary user group will be the municipality's energy consultants.

The energy follow-up system shall, at the start, handle approx. 650,000 m2 heated buildings, with an annual consumption between 100 and 110 GWh. This is divided between 230 buildings — mainly nurseries, schools and health and welfare centres. The number of energy monitored buildings, and therefore the area, is expected to increase in the future.

Each building has 2-3 energy meters and a number of buildings have automatic meters that register water consumption. Both the number of energy meters and buildings with automatic water meters are expected to rise considerably in the coming years.

On behalf of the project owner, the Contracting Authority and Builder, Helse Møre og Romsdal HF, (hereafter called the Contracting Authorities), Sykehusbygg HF shall be in charge of planning and construction of the project ‘Nordmøre and Romsdal Hospital’ (hereafter called SNR), at Hjelset. This procurement is being executed by Sykehusbygg HF on behalf of the Contracting Authority. The infrastructure in the hospital area must be partially altered and upgraded and partially built anew in preparation for the construction of the new hospital.

The works comprises water supply, sewage systems, supply of electricity and data. Oppdølveien shall be altered and redeveloped, and pedestrian and bicycle paths shall be established in connection to Oppdølveien. There will be a number of construction works in the form of concrete retaining walls, and some in natural stone (dry wall). Some green areas will be included. The procurement will be implemented as an execution contract (the Contractor shall execute all described works planned by the Builder's consultants). The works will take place close to the existing psychiatric hospital operations.
