Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) is the statutory body with the responsibility for the protection, development and management of the inland fishery resource within the State.  As part of their responsibility to manage the fish stocks on the River Dalligan it has been decided to decommission the weir near Ballyvoyle, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.  This decommissioning will take the form of:
A.	The removal of a section of the weir and placing the material within the channel to form bank erosion protection measures and in-stream structures, OR
B.	To remove the entire weir using the material to form bank protection and in-stream measures, no material will be removed off site.
IFI wish to appoint a consulting engineer to assist in assessing both these options in terms of cost, maintenance, disturbance and other structural and ecological implications. The consultant engineer will be required to produce a report on each option and to follow through on the preferred option to satisfactory completion of the project.

The objective of the pioneering ‘Take Off’ programme is to provide a new support mechanism, advisory panels, used internationally, but never before implemented in micro enterprises in Ireland,  up to 8 carefully selected micro-enterprises with growth ambitions, drawn from the lead agency and collaborative partners operational areas, the opportunity to benefit from concentrated support from the dedicated advisory panel of 3 experts per enterprise
The lead agency (LEO Wexford) together with the collaborative partners will engage an external consultant to undertake this feasibility study.  The feasibility study will involve 4 phases and will be delivered within a 12 month timeframe.
The lead agency together with the collaborative partners will be involved fully throughout the process, both with detailed input and to manage and evaluate its progress and delivery by means of a evaluate & review process following completion of each project phase.
A comprehensive report will be produced by the external consultant, submitted to the lead agency together with the collaborative partners.

Multi Party Framework Agreement for Quantity Surveying Services for 4 Dublin Local Authorities and Irish Council of Social Housing of Approved Housing Bodies in Two Lots

It is intended to set up a framework agreement in two Lots for 4 Dublin Local Authorities and Irish Council of Social Housing of Approved Housing Bodies, the provision of Quantity Surveying
Services for new build, regeneration and refurbishment projects in residential (excluding residential works that pertain to Housing Strategy 2020), commercial, civils, leisure and municipal
works and requires from time to time, the services of  consultant quantity surveyors to assist in achieving the annual targets.
The Irish Council of Social Housing of Approved Housing Bodies (Consultant Quantity Surveyors) cost manage a range of new build, regeneration and refurbishment projects in residential
(excluding residential works that pertain to Housing Strategy 2020), and require from time to time, the services of consultant quantity surveyors to assist in achieving the annual targets.
The Framework Agreement will be split into 2 Lots ( Lot 1 for projects with a project value not exceeding €5,000,000 and Lot 2 for projects with a project value exceeding €5,000,000) and
will be established using the Restricted Procedure and will be available to the Local Authorities outlined above and to current members of the Irish Council of Social Housing (see current list
of members attached to eTenders notice RFT ID 95362).
Tenderers will be required to apply individually for each Lot, and must submit separate Suitability Assessment Questionnaires for each Lot.
The service may be full or partial service.

The Office of Public Works, under the Arterial Drainage Acts and in conjunction with Cork County Council, is currently advancing major flood relief schemes in several locations in County Cork.  The locations include Bandon, Skibbereen, Clonakilty, Blackpool, Lower Lee (Cork City), Glashaboy (Glanmire) and Ballymakeera-Ballyvourney.  The Skibbereen and Glashaboy Schemes are under the management of Cork County Council.  The Office of Public Works requires a Project Archaeologist to oversee the archaeological operations carried out by the Contractor’s Archaeological Consultant(s) on such projects and to liaise with the National Monuments Service over the course of construction

Iarnród Éireann (IE) invites Applications from suitably qualified companies to
participate in the Pre-
Qualification process for appointment to a Qualification System for the provision of
Structural Design
Consultancy Services. This Qualification system will operate for a period of three
years.
Iarnród Éireann is responsible for the suitability of their infrastructure and may
need to renew structures following inspection due to deterioration or due to the
need to improve clearances for the passage of rail traffic. There is a continual body
of design works that needs to be undertaken and IÉ is seeking expertise from
suitable Consultants for the provision in the area of bridge design, detailing and
the preparation of tender documentation, in the following areas for Bridge
Renewals and Bridge repairs (this information is included in the attachment
specification that can be downloaded from the etender notice)

River Bridge and Channel Survey Services (Qualification System)

Iarnród Éireann has over 350 bridges (structures greater than 2m) over water. All
these bridges and riverbeds require periodic inspections. Some inspections are
carried out yearly, other are every 3 years and more are on a 6 yearly cycle.
Iarnród Éireann is looking to appoint specialist expertise to undertake inspection of
railway bridges that traverse water courses as well as carry out bridge and river
surveys.
The consultant is to provide expertise in the following areas:
1.	Provide divers/surveyors for a bridge and riverbed inspections/surveys
2.	Record the topography using surveying techniques
3.	Using the previous base line surveys (supplied by IE) identify changes in the
structure and/or the river channel.
4.	Provide factual report on findings.
5.	Provide for Engineers review of the factual report.
The Qualification System is also to include for inspection of any structure following
a flood event. In the period after a flood event structures throughout the IE network
may need to be inspected to determine the extent, if any, of damage caused by
the event. The availability of divers will form part of the evaluation.
The divers/ surveyors are to be trained for Personnel Track Safety (PTS) on the
awarding of any contract. The cost of this will be included in any tenders.
The successful Contractor will be required to supply appropriately qualified
personnel.
