Finpro is looking for a partner for assessing the opportunities in Mexico regarding the “Red Compartida” 4G open access network project and similar projects around the world. The local partner will act as a consultant for the Connectivity from Finland Growth Program. The consultant will perform an in-depth analysis of the Telecommunications Reform of Mexico and carry out an assessment of the business opportunities for Finland that the reform entails, besides this, the consultant will make an assessment of reform trends in selected markets and propose business induction strategies that leverage from policy and market conditions in the markets studied.

Given the current trend of consolidation of telecommunications across the world, the consultant will draw parallels between the different countries, identify cross pollination opportunities among countries, perform an analysis of the Finnish product and service portfolio, and design strategic guidelines to foster the success of Finnish enterprises in the markets studied. The program term is planned to last two years, with a first contract ending in December 2016 and a possible renewal for an additional period of 12 months depending of the results and funding decision of Ministry of Employment and the Economy in Finland.
