On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is the sector project "Sustainability in textile supply chain" of the German Society for International Cooperation and Development (GIZ), the Secretariat of the Alliance for Sustainable Textiles (BNT). The BNT aims to improve the social, environmental and economic sustainability along the entire textile value-added chain.
Currently, the development and implementation of a system occurs (review process) for monitoring and evaluation of the individual and the common progress of the Allies in pursuit of alliance objectives. Against this background, each member of the Union is obliged to define a custom roadmap for the following calendar year (first 2017).
Order Goal: All submitted roadmaps to be reviewed by an independent service provider. This is to ensure that these comply with the procedural as well as substantive requirements of the BNT. The information gathered during the audit should also be used to develop a proposal for a concept that a comparison and a qualitative assessment of members allowed power in the future.
Design and development of qualifying specialized applications with analysis functionalities.
Implementation of specialist applications in Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA).
For BAFA's strategic objective is to harmonize the IT structures (database development environment, software technology). For this purpose the existing heterogeneous software architecture is given. Whereas it is understood from the following existing development environment:
- Server layer: JBOSS / wildfly, Windream DMS, CIB document server, Hibernate O / R mapper, Hibernate Search, Spring;
- Database Layer: Oracle 11;
- Client: Rich Client Platform (RCP), Java Swing (on Quasar Framework);
- Development: JDK, Eclipse, Maven, Ant, JIRA, TeamCity.
An integration of BAFA employees is necessary to ensure the independent maintenance and development of the software by BAFA employees after the conversion.
The Firm of Consultants is responsible to provide expertise to the implementation of the Project ‘Inter-communal Water Management along the Dniester’ in close cooperation with the GIZ Project Manager who is responsible to BMZ for the German contribution. Responsibility for the commission is assumed by Bureau for Reintegration of the State Chancery in the partner country.
Provide expert assistance to the implementation to the German contribution in the country through defined international and national experts' inputs;
— Elaborate detailed ToRs for consultancy services for individual national and international consultants and ensure necessary preparatory arrangements for their missions;
— Provision of knowledge-oriented advisory services, covering the entire spectrum of WSS service delivery, including participatory investment planning, decision-making, organization, operation and underlying financial evaluation and management requirements.
— Provision of defined studies, services and reports in accordance with the individual ToRs of consultants.
— Perform case feasibility studies, technical design and their assessment, procurement, construction supervision and quality assurance of construction works.
— Development of investment proposals / project fiches, with their technical planning and financial estimations, to be further submitted for funding by national and international sources.
Creation of texts and / or editorial editing existing texts.
The publicity of the GIZ will provide a clear and consistent picture of GIZ at home and abroad and create a positive image of the company. It corresponds to the professional understanding of the GIZ, to be assisted by experienced PR consultants and editors.
A pool with 20 providers of text services to ensure high quality publications and a consistent corporate policy orientation. Client for text services can be both communication professionals as well as experts of GIZ.
To communicate the work of GIZ, texts must be drawn up in German for different media, understandably formulated and processed. A thorough research is also expected as the correct representation of clients and partners.
Based on the current German technical cooperation in support of the Government of Cameroon ( "modernization of public financial management in Cameroon", 2014-2017; PAMFIP II), the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), GIZ for the period 2017-2020 with the Instructs implementation of a subsequent measure.
