The top of the main staircase is adorned with a striking clock supplied by clock maker Syrstad in Steinkjer. The aim of the project is to take care of the buildings cultural and historical value at the same time as the rehabilitation/restoration of the Clock Building shall give a modern, overall, flexible and functional tuition building with increased accessibility. The assignment comprises the rehabilitation and restoration of the Clock Building at the Norwegian University of Life Science at Ås. Rehabilitation of the Clock Building shall give an overall, modern and functional tuition building with increased accessibility, while at the same time the rehabilitation takes care of the cultural and historical values.
