The construction firm selected must be capable of furnishing all management, labor, materials, equipment and transportation in support of general construction, as follows: the construction of a new sallyport/elevator. The secure elevator will allow the current freight elevators within the courthouse to be used as intended for the movement of freight while removing the element of a security detail to escort prisoners to the 10th floor of the Bob Casey Federal Building. The General Services Administration (GSA), Greater Southwest Region 7, Acquisition Management Division is the office soliciting, and who will administer the resulting contracts. In accordance with FAR 19.1405, this procurement is set aside exclusively for Service Disabled Veteran owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. The work to be performed under the terms of this contract is the construction of a sallyport/Elevator. Interested firms are to read the solicitation for more details, including drawings and specifications. The selection process will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15 source selection procedures. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded to the firm offering the best value to the Government. Non-price technical evaluation factors when combined are significantly more important than price. The Government may or may not hold discussions on technical proposals therefore the Offeror's initial proposal should contain their best offer in terms of technical and price. Two-Phase Design-Build Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Construction type task orders. Task orders issued under this MATOC are anticipated to require performance of work predominantly performed in North Carolina, however performance may be required at other milityar locations within the South Atlantic Division Area of Operations (North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama & Mississippi). This acquisition is being offered as an 8(a) Total Small-Business Set Aside. The life of the basic contract is for a base period of three (3) years and two (2) one year options. The contractors which successfully receive an award will have a total contract capacity of $45M. The Government will use a best value Two-Phase Design-Build selection procedure in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 36.301. The order limitation of task orders shall range between $25K and $5M. Task orders issued under this MATOC will be firm-fixed price. All other resultant task orders may include options. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center - Fort Knox intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) for a broad range of real property Sustainment, Restoration, and Maintenance (SRM) and minor construction tasks. The resultant contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). Three to five awards are contemplated. The scope of work encompasses tasks in a variety of trades including, but not limited to, carpentry, road repair, bridge construction and repair, roofing, excavation, interior electrical, exterior electrical, steam fitting, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete masonry and welding. The guaranteed minimum quantity of work for each contract will be $5,000.00 and will be obligated and paid in the base period. Each contract award will be for a 5 year period of performance. In no event will the total awarded task orders among all awarded contracts exceed the total program value of $245,000,000 over a five year period. The Fort Knox construction MATOC program initial contract period is 1 October 2014 or date of contract award, whichever is later through 30 September 2015, or 1825 days from the contract award date. Work shall be performed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the resulting contract, statements of work, specifications and drawings as required in any resulting individual task orders issued. The size standard is $33.5 million. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The USPFO for Arkansas, located at Camp Joseph T. Robinson, North Little Rock, Arkansas, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for Construction of a 40,000 SF Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) at the Air National Guard Facilities located at the Fort Smith Municipal Airport in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Project to be LEED Silver Certified. Construction services will consist of, but is not limited to, site work, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, masonry, roofing, painting, and concrete work. The new facility will combine the operational missions of the Remote Piloted Aircraft Operations Center (RPA), Distributed Communications Ground System (DGS), and Targeting Intelligence Production Squadron (IS) the consolidated 3 missions will operate in the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF). The facility will be utilized for both operational missions and training activities for all three operations. The facility has been designed to Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force, and base design standards.
