NP827/14 Minor Building Works is a set of framework agreements across NHS Scotland in 34 geographic and value lots for minor building works. For the purpose of this procurement, Minor Building Works are defined as: Publicly funded projects with a value less than 1 000 000 GBP but greater than 50 000 GBP where a multi-discipline contractor is required to deliver new build or refurbishment projects including without limitation the construction of new health and social care centres along with other facilities, extension to existing buildings, the refurbishment/upgrading of existing premises and term contracts for specific programme of work. The scope does not generally include contracts over 1 000 000 GBP which should be delivered through Frameworks 2 managed by Health Facilities Scotland; it also excludes low value (under 50 000 GBP) small works and term trade contracts which will be managed at an individual Participating Authority level. It is intended that the Participating Authorities shall be entitled to call off the Framework acting either individually or collectively.
