The Project is for the provision of GBD Project Works Package No 10 — Frederick Street Car Park.
The following is a brief synopsis of the scope of works for Works Package 10.
The Contractor shall be required to construct Frederick Street Car Park which is a mixed use development comprising turn-key car-parking spaces, with covered, illuminated and secure bicycle parking spaces, together with a car park security office, and shell retail space. The development also includes soft landscaping with trees, shrubs, and climbing plants, forming a buffer between the proposed car park and the adjacent residential property. The car park also contains a store to accommodate the mechanical access platform for use primarily on the nearby university. The works include signage, car parking equipment and associated siteworks outside the boundary of the site. A period of 12 months has been programmed for Section 2 works.
