services of expertise in accessibility for people with disabilities in the European Parliament

The European Parliament plans to enter into a contract with an economic operator able to provide the expertise necessary to validate building plans, refurbishment plans, and proposals for the purchase of supplies and IT equipment, and proposals for computer programs and Internet sites.
The services to be performed by the external expert will include, in particular:
— conducting studies on written proposals and building plans, submitted by the European Parliament services in relation to improving accessibility for people with disabilities,
— providing advice to the Parliament on ways of improving accessibility for people with disabilities in the following areas: buildings, refurbishment, supplies, procedures, manuals, information technology, etc.,
— providing practical advice in the field of accessibility for people with disabilities to Parliament staff members.
