The new Town Hall shall contain the municipality's core activities and joint functions that include approx. 374 office spaces and make up GFA 11 615 m2. The general contractor should have the capacity to finish the complete construction of the new town hall in accordance with the contract, so that the hand-over can take place at the latest by 20 December 2018 (completion date). The new town hall shall be taken into use by the end of December 2018. The new town hall is detail designed in accordance with NS 3420:2016/01 and shall be built to passive house standards.

Sandnes town council approved the construction of a swimming pool at Iglemyr in Sandnes municipality in the financial plan for 2017 — 2020. A total of 233 000 000 NOK has been put aside in the approved budget for investment resources for the project, including, amongst other things, plot and engineering design costs and VAT.

The swimming pool will be approx. 5 400 m2 and it shall have a main pool of 25 x 21 m, 2 warm water pools, a grandstand with 250 seats and the accompanying rooms. The outside area shall be developed in accordance with the outdoor plan and the plan for municipal engineering sites. The project model will be an execution contract organised as joint contracts, with all the construction disciplines in one main contract. BH has engaged a separate BL to coordinate the contracts.

The ground work will start in March 2018. The contractor must have the capacity to complete his work in accordance with the contract, so that the hand-off can take place no later than 27.1.2020 (final deadline).

The contract work consists of contract E01 Main contract, as this is described in the contract documentation and annexes. The following construction work is included in contract E01: Piling and sheet piling, concrete work, steel constructions, masonry and tiling work, joinery/carpentry work, locks and fittings, roofing work, flashing and guttering work, metal work, glass and aluminium facades, painting/wallpapering, ceiling work, fixed building fixtures, auxiliary work and lift, etc. The project is divided into the following contracts:

E01 Main contract,

E02 Heating, water and sewage installations, ground and landscape,

E03 Purification installations for the pool,

E04 Sanitation,

E05 Electro,

E06 Ventilation,

E07 Centralised Operational Control system.

A decision was made in the town council's discussion of the finance plan for 2016-2019 to set aside resources for a respite care centre with a children's home. Up to 25 respite care and children's homes are included in the construction programme. The respite care centre must be planned with several minor units that all have the necessary functions. The project consists of construction of a new roundabout on Hoveveien with two underpasses for GS-way. It will also be built GS-way from plane border in the south to the bus compartment in the north, and in this shall be a new 300mm water main.
