The contract involves carrying out tasks as managing partner property management for the city of Deventer. The municipality owns about 300 properties under the municipality. The portfolio consists of properties, (small) offices, (national) monuments and multipurpose buildings. Of these properties, 70 are designated as core. The current public library on the Brink is too small, outdated and not useful for the present and future library functions. The former SNS-building and the adjacent historic building "La Fontana" (Stromarkt 19) to the Straw Market in Deventer is the location of the newly established library.

Commissioned by SA Corporate Real Estate Deventer Bierman Henket architects created a final design for the new building. The new building includes the collection area, a library-bar, multi-activity rooms, a living room cinema, study and office spaces. In addition to the basement and ground floor there are 2 floors. The project comprises approximately 5000 m² GFA and put a STAB cutlery on the market based on the UAV2012. Prior to the new building is demolished the existing SNS-building. The contract consists broadly of the following tasks:

- Demolition of the existing building with SNS-preservation of the current basement;

- Carrying out asbestos removal;

- The realization of the entire new building, including installations;
