The project Future Hemweg has the purpose to convert HW08 to a coal and biomass firing plant to increase renewable production in Employer's portfolio and reduce CO2 emissions. The required works, services and supply include but is not limited to, all installations (excluding underground Civil, silo concrete works and integration into existing automation lots) that are required for unloading barges, cleaning of wood pellets, storing of wood pellets. The scope comprises the engineering and design, procurement, construction, commissioning, testing and optional maintenance of the Works.
The entire plant conversion will be realised by two main project parts, besides separate underground Civil, silo concrete works and integration into existing automation lots:
— Part 1, logistics and storage: Engineering Procurement Construction, Fidic Silver contract for realisation of the Logistical system.
— Part 2, pneumatic feeding and mill conversion: Plant and Design Build including procurement, Fidic Yellow contract for realisation of the Installation Conversion to Co-fire Biomass.
This Tender sees to Part 1, logistics. The second part, pneumatic feeding and mill conversion, is in its Tender-phase with pre-selected tenderers.
The Works foreseen by this tender are including, but not limited to:
— Crane and mooring-system (delivery and Install)
— Cleaning equipment
— Conveying equipment
— Dust filters
— Silo structure and roof and supporting structures
— Instrumentation and Control system
— Fire detection and firefighting system
— Electrical system
Expansion of the CBS consisting of structural works, mechanical and electrical installations.
Ca. 1200 m² GFA construction; also limited demolition.
The provision of advice on construction issues.
The amount is not known, as planned, the building until 2022 will remain in use and should be given during that time there will be advice. What this will be is not known.
The reconstruction Ruijterkade West concerns the construction of a quay construction and the renovation of the corresponding surface.
