The purpose of this notice is to synopsize the Heavy Lift 8 (HL8) requirement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.207.
Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to issue a solicitation for line haul, heavy lift, and personnel transportation services throughout the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR) in support of the 1st Sustainment Command (Theater) (TSC). It is estimated that solicitation W52P1J-16-R-0027 will be issued on or about 15 February 2017. However, this date is subject to change. Future notices, as applicable, will provide updates of the anticipated solicitation release date.
ACC-RI intends to conduct a full and open, best value lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) (including past performance) competition to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Task Order Contract. The Period of Performance (PoP) is anticipated to be five one-year evaluated ordering periods. The PoP will also include a six-month evaluated ordering period under clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. Additionally, FAR 52.237-3, Continuity of Services, will be included in the contract.
The successful Offeror(s) for this acquisition will be required to support the 1st TSC with commercial provided services that include all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to perform commercial line haul, heavy lift, and personnel transportation services as defined in the HL8 Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractors will provide commercial line haul transportation for the movement of equipment, cargo and personnel within the CENTCOM AOR. The contractor shall comply with 8 USC 1324a, 8 CFR Part 274a, and any other laws and regulations pertaining to the employment of aliens. The contractor shall, upon request by the Contracting Officer, present documentary evidence acceptable to the Contracting Officer that the employee(s) named or identified in the request is a citizen of the United States or is lawfully admitted into the United States and authorized to work in the United States. Such documentation shall be presented to the Contracting Officer within three (3) working days after the contractor's receipt of the request for documentation. If acceptable documentary evidence is not provided within the required time, the contractor shall not allow the affected employee(s) to perform work on Fort Joint Base Lewis-McChord or any other  Government installation under this contract until after such acceptable documentary evidence is presented to the Contracting Officer. Removal of any employee(s) from performance of work pursuant to this provision shall not relieve the contractor of the responsibility to perform all work under this contract in a timely manner.

a. Only one delivery will be accepted against each line item. Backorders will NOT be accepted on individual line items.
b. Deliver on or before date specified. Deliveries will be accepted Monday through Friday (except Holidays) from 7:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. to Block 15 of the Purchase Order. Notify the individual in Block 16 of any delay encountered (due to strikes, factory backorders, etc.) and give revised delivery date if possible.
c. Mark outside of all cartons. Put packing list inside cartons. Show the order number assigned, the PR number shown at the end of each item, and the quantity shipped. All items will be identified by the part number by attached tag and/or stamped identification.
d. On direct shipments, have the supplier or manufacturer cite our order number on packages. This eliminates delay caused by trying to determine the firm awarded the original order.

The Department of Education and Training (DET) is calling for submissions for the New Lift Shaft project located at Wallangarra State School at 50 Callandoon St, Wallangarra QLD 4383.

NOTE: This project is for the lift shaft, landings and other building works. The Lift Supply and Install component is by others and has already been awarded.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors with a QBCC Open Builders License.

The Grimsby Institute Group (The Group) is a multi campus further and higher education business. The Group is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to tender for a planned preventative maintenance service contract for all passenger lift systems listed in Appendix 6 of this document.

It is important to note that The Group has campus sites in North East Lincolnshire, East Lindsey & North Yorkshire. A full list of assets and campus sites is located at Appendix 6.

Each Asset listed on every site requires maintenance at 1 month intervals to a standard recommended by the Tenderer and agreed by the Group. This is to ensure the longevity of GIGs assets and ensure they pass all statutory examinations carried out by the Group’s insurance provider.

The successful Tenderer will ensure the group adheres to its legal responsibilities under the Heath and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, Provisions and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER)(, and the Lifting Operation and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998.

Requirements

Tenderers will be required to:

Report to the responsible person in the Estates Department on any non compliance issues with any of the assets listed in Appendix 6 of this document that do not adhere to Regulation 9 of the LOLER 1998.

To recommend and quote for a program of regular maintenance, for each asset listed in Appendix 6 of this document that ensures the Group remains complaint with all statutory requirements. The program will involve servicing at monthly intervals.

Quote for an emergency call out service for each asset to ensure that The Group is compliant with BD EB81-28. This should provide cover for 24 hours each day and for 365 days of the year.
