1 INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this effort is to locate a contractor that is capable of filling the needs of the 171st Vehicle Management Flight (LGRV) shop. The LGRV Shop needs Four-Post Lift in order to service and maintain various vehicles for the 171st.
1.1 SCOPE
1.2.1 The contractor will disconnect all electrical connections to the old Four-Post Lift. Remove and dispose of the old Four-Post Lift. The contractor will install the new Four-Post Lift. The contractor will reconnect all electrical connections for the new Four-Post Lift. While working in the Vehicle Management Shop the contractor will follow all safety and O.S.H.A regulations.

The Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC), Specialized Contracting Office (PZIMB), intends to negotiate with Man Lift Mft. Co., Shelby, N.C., on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to acquire an explosion proof Scissor Lift that is designed for Class 1, Division 1, hazardous environments. The requirement is for a self-propelled, battery powered lift that doesn't require an external air source that can meet these new safety requirements and also fulfill mission workload (1932X)
