The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has a mandate to support the implementation of the Security Council Resolution 1701. As part of the Mission’s support programme, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from fully qualified companies wishing to be considered for inclusion in a tender for the following:
Establishment of Contract for Construction of Extension to Existing Hospital Building in UNIFIL HQ camp Naqoura.
The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has a requirement for a Project for the Construction for an Extension to the Existing Hospital Building in UNIFIL HQ camp Naqoura
The project/works shall comprise of the below elements and the successful Contractor  would be required to supply all required management, administration, workmanship, transportation, tools& equipment with its related accessories fuel, etc., to complete the works as specified hereunder:
1-	Site Works: Site preparation including mobilization and demobilization, excavation, backfilling, supply and lay Polyethene sheets membrane and demolishing works.
2-	Concrete Works: Supply, mix and cast-in-situ plain concrete of Class C15, C25.
3-	Masonry Works: Supply, transport and lay concrete hollow block walls.
4-	Metal Works: Supply, fabricate and fix steel grating with removable panels, including angels, anchors and all necessary fixing accessories and painting.
5-	Wood works: Supply, fabricate and install cabinets, laminated MDF panel doors, plywood partitions, shelving, drawers and other related works and their necessary accessories.
6-	Thermal and Weather Insolation: Prepare surfaces, supply and lay extruded polystyrene thermal insulation.
7-	Supply of Doors and Windows: wooden doors, glazing doors, hinged aluminum doors, hinged steel doors, aluminum windows.
8-	Finishing works: Cement plastering, false ceiling, Counters tops, tiles, supply of ceramic, concrete tiles, marble, Special internal / external Painting.
9-	Special Works: Oxygen Installation, Door signs and others such as preparation of shop and as built drawings.
10-	Plumbing and Sanitary works.
11-	Electrical Works.
For the purpose of establishing a contract, UNIFIL will undertake a competitive bidding exercise in the future and consider inviting those companies that have expressed their interest and provided initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNIFIL’s requirement. Please note, this is not an invitation for submission of a price proposal.
Responding to this Request:
1. Interested companies must complete the Vendor Response Form and return it to the attention of UNIFIL Chief Procurement Officer no later than 04:00 PM E astern European Time (Local time in Lebanon) on 10th of February 2017, via (a) e-mail as PDF attachment to unifil-eoi@un.org; or (b) facsimile to +961 1 925022.
2. Vendor Response Forms must be completed in full and supported by the requested information providing the evidence of the company’s ability to satisfy UNIFIL's requirement. The UNIFIL reserves the right to reject Expressions of Interest documents that are incomplete, or are received after the stated deadline.
3. Registration with UNGM (WWW.UNGM.ORG) is free of charge and mandatory for all companies wishing to participate in the UN solicitations. Companies that are not registered with UMGM cannot be included in the List of Invitees. Only those companies that are registered at Level 1 would be eligible for award of contract.
