The Dunkettle Interchange Upgrade Scheme comprises the upgrade of the existing interchange to largely free flow involving, inter alia, the construction of a number of new structures (including over the railway), new road links including all earthworks, drainage and pavement, signage and lining, landscaping, environmental mitigation, culverts, roundabouts, pedestrian / cycle facilities and traffic management, all in close proximity to live traffic, the railway, Cork Harbour SPA and various large industrial facilities.

Houses construction work

The construction of 28 no. Infill Houses at MacUilliam, Fortunestown Lane, Tallaght, Dublin 24 and all associated site works.

It is a requirement that the tendering contractor has completed in the last 7 years a housing project under the direction of a professional design team, using a Public Works Contract Form, to a value of not less than 2 000 000 EUR The project program requires delivery within a restricted timeframe. The tenderer must demonstrate that they have the technical, management, organisational resources, together with the technical and administrative PSCS / Health & Safety expertise, to implement the works in the designated timeframe.

Contractors are required to qualify in order for their tenders to be considered bona fide.

The Contracting Authority is seeking to Establish a Framework agreement for the provision of Civil and Structural Engineering Design Services for projects of an estimated construction value in excess of 5 000 000 EUR (ex. VAT).The projects will be located within the Councils administrative area and will include new build and refurbishment residential projects as well as civic, community, recreational and public realm projects. The framework agreement will be established with between 5 and 8 operators subject to the receipt of a sufficient number of valid tenders. Framework members will be required to provide Civil and Structural Engineering Design Services for stages (i)-(v) of the Capital Works Management Framework or a subset thereof. As part of the service delivery framework members will be required to provide the specialist skills as described in section 1.4 of the attached SAQ.

The maximum estimated value of services over the lifetime of the framework is in the region of EUR5 million (ex VAT).It is emphasized that the above mentioned volume is provided strictly for indicative purposes only and there is no guaranteed expenditure or contracts under the framework agreement.

The framework agreement will be established on foot of an initial contract for Civil and Structural Design Engineering Services for stages (i) to (v) of the Capital Works Management Framework.

Specialist skills required will be Design Certifier, Assigned Certifier (under the Building Control Amendment Regulations 2014) and Project Supervisor for the Design Process. (Note — For the Initial Contract, the role of Project Supervisor for the Design Process will be fulfilled by separate appointment).

The initial contract is for a development which comprises circa 70 dwellings over partial basement as well as public realm works, including a new street, a high a quality ‘boulevard’ and general public realm renewal works. The estimated construction value of the initial contract is approximately EUR9 million (excl VAT).

FOLD Ireland wish to appoint a competent and experienced building contractor to construct 43 No. sheltered housing units and associated site development works for senior citizens at Dolphin Park, Rialto, Dublin 8.

FOLD Ireland wish to appoint a competent and experienced building contractor with mechanical and electrical works capacity and experience of social housing projects to construct and complete all necessary works to deliver on programme a new development of 43 No. sheltered housing units for senior citizens and communal facilities and associated site development works at Dolphin Park, Rialto, Dublin 8.

The works consist of the development of 5 No. residential blocks (A to E) ranging from 2 to 4 storeys, comprising of 42 No. (1 Bed) Apartments and 1 no (2Bed) Apartment, and a community centre (c.115 m²) located at ground floor level of Block A, access to blocks via 2no. stair and lift cores and external walkways to each apartment, all totalling 3 459 m². Provision for refuse store (c.16 m²), external store (13 m²), ESB substation and 8no. car parking spaces

The site works will include modifications to the existing hard play area and a section of the existing public road (Dolphin Park) and associated adjoining footpath within the site boundary to accommodate the proposed development. The development will include the relocation of the existing bollards and construction of a new access road to the South, East and North of the site.

Construction work for buildings relating to railway transport

Iarnród Éireann proposes to establish multi-party framework agreements for Civil Engineering and Building Works associated with the upgrading of the railway infrastructure and other related works that IE or CIE may undertake on their properties. The extent and details of these works will vary from location to location. Project works shall be awarded in separate packages based on the ‘Call Off’ set out in the Framework Agreement.

Civil Engineering and Building Works associated with the upgrading of the railway infrastructure and any other Works which IE or CIE may undertake on their properties. The project works (from 1 000 000 EUR up to value of 5 000 000 EUR) may include but are not limited to any of the following:

— Any works required to facilitate construction of new platforms and/or extension, and upgrading of existing platforms;

Construction of footbridges and any associated lift installations;

— Any works required to facilitate construction of new car parks and/or extension and upgrading of existing car parks;

— Any works required to facilitate bridge widening, bridge replacement, bridge closures, road realignments, access roads etc.;

— Alterations to existing railway under-bridges or over-bridges;

— Embankment/cutting works including widening, strengthening and repair;

Construction of roads, earthworks, drainage, boundary treatment and minor civil engineering and building works;

— Any works required to facilitate the relocation of services adjacent to the railway;

— Works on listed structures;

— Demolition of existing railway structures;

— Building works;

— Works on listed buildings;

— Removal, relocation of and/or modifications to existing structures and buildings;

— Foundation works, ground engineering and geo-technical processes;

— All associated temporary works to ensure the continued operation of the railway.

The extent and details of these works will vary from location to location. Project works shall be awarded in separate packages based on the ‘Call Off’ set out in the Framework Agreement. It is anticipated that the value of Individual Works Packages awarded under this Framework Agreement will not exceed 5 000 000 EUR (including VAT).

There is no undertaking given by Iarnród Éireann that all works outlined above will be tendered under this Framework Agreement. Iarnród Éireann may at its discretion and where considered appropriate use alternative procurement options for such works.

This is a supplementary Notice renewing and augmenting Notice OJEU Ref 2015/S 189-343512 (Etenders RFT ID: 99702) for the establishment of a Qualification System for Civil/Marine Engineering Contractors so that tender competitions can be conducted (under a negotiated procedure) for Works projects in connection with Dublin Port. The original qualification system notice was despatched to the OJEU on 25/9/15. This notice includes additional works and services not in the Original Notice.

Applicants already qualified on the qualification system do not need to complete a full response but need to ensure they meet the requirements for the additional scope, i.e. design. Please ensure you read the rules contained in the procurement documents available from www.etenders.gov.ie.

South Dublin County Council intends to invite submissions for the Development of a 40 unit infill housing project on undeveloped lands located off Ballyboden Road, with access via the bridge serving Owendoher Haven, at Rathfarnham, Dublin 14 The housing provision includes two storey houses primarily grouped in terraces, or semi-detached, with own door accessed apartments incorporated into terraces, and with landscaped amenity space landscaping works to boundaries, and new park / play area, and all necessary associated ancillary works on the site and adjacent areas.
