The intent of this notice is to notify potential offerors that Lajes Field, Terceira, Azores, Portugal intends to solicit proposals and award a single award firm fixed price contract using FAR Parts 12, 13, 37, with FAR Part 15 evaluation procedures. The contract term will be a base period of eleven (11) months plus four (4) one (1) year options; beginning on 1 November 2017 to 30 September 2018.
This synopsis is for a solicitation for the following: Non-personal service, to include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal and off Base support sites in a manner that will promote the growth of healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance through the growing season, which for Lajes Field consists of 52 weeks a year. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561730.
The anticipated solicitation release date on or about 03 April 2017. The closing date, time for submission of offers, as well as the date and time for pre-proposal conference will be contained in the solicitation package. Solicitation documents will be posted on the Government Point of Entry located at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
