Construction project: For the Helmholtz Center Potsdam, German Research Center for Geosciences, the construction of a new laboratory building with offices and server room is planned southeast of Potsdam's city center on the landmarked Telegrafenberg. The gross floor area is approx. 3,850 m². The new building is to be erected west of the existing building complex BG in the edge area of the Science Park. The construction site is located in a partly wooded area with increased relief energy. North and east border traffic areas of the internal development and road network. On the one hand, this is an access to an underground car park in house BG and, on the other hand, a subordinate footpath. The new building should take into account the ensemble protection of the historic existing buildings in the landscaped facility of Telegrafenberg. It is a detached 5-storey building with 1 basement.
