The AudiMax Braunschweig University of Technology allows 800 people to participate in lectures and is the largest university lecture hall.

It is located in a central location of the TU, the Forum Square, and is part of the built 1959-1962 by Friedrich Wilhelm Kraemer of buildings enclosing the square urban. The building is listed under § 3 (2) + § 3 (3) NDSchG.

First restructuring measures have already been held in the year of 2010. These measures included the roofing, including thermal insulation above the auditorium cube, the ventilation technology (heating and fresh air without cooling), Flooring / stalls AudiMax and media technology.
