Rental of Rubble Skips for the Collection of Renovation / Construction Debris

1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the Rental of Rubble Skips for the Collection of Renovation / Construction Debris on "as and when required basis". 2. The Contractor shall deliver the rubble skips within two (2) working days notice as requested by the UNFICYP's designated official. The Contractor shall collect the rubble skips along with the construction debris gathered from the renovation/construction of sites within seven (7) days of delivery. 3. The Contractor shall be able to deliver up to a minimum of four (4) rubble skips per day, of a volume not less than six (6) cubic meters on "as and when required basis". 4. The following are the principal sites of delivery of the rubble skips: a) UNFICYP HQ, UNPA, Old Nicosia International Airport. b) Ledra Palace Hotel, Nicosia, Sector 2. c) San Martin Camp,Skouriotissa Area, Sector 1. 4. The resulting Contract shall be of an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend at UNFICYP’s sole option for a maximum of two additional periods of up to one (1) year each (3+1+1) years. 5. In this regard UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Interested Vendors are requested to express their interest by providing all relevant information including complete company details and experience profile using the attached Vendor Response Form, also available in our website www.unficyp.org. The interest should be sent to the attention of Chief Procurement Officer either via fax +357-22-614493 or via email unficyp-procurement@un.org no later than Thursday, 19 May 2016. 6. The UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the installation of a 152 feet Rohn self - standing telecommunication tower which shall be situated at BBC Camp in Old Nicosia Airport, United Nations Protected Area (UNPA), Cyprus. The project is a turn-key and shall include but is not limited to site preparation, construction of foundations, removal of the existing 98 feet tower and installation of the new telecommunication tower which shall be provided by UNFICYP. 2. It shall be noted that a mandatory site visit shall form part of the solicitation exercise in order for vendors to examine the site. 3. 1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the supply and installation of a telecommunications tower at Camp Roca in Karavostasi, Cyprus. 2. The tower shall be a Rohn Self-Supporting Tower of SSV type, 80 feet high lattice tower, triangular in nature with all required safety climb and fall arrest fittings. The accessories include a lightning protection system, one leg dish mount for 60 cm parabolic antenna, a grounding system, an obstruction illumination system, visibility paint, waveguide ladder, anti-climb panels, and the underground PVC ducting connectivity to the Telecommunications shelter. 3. The work shall include but not limited to the provision, site preparation, construction of foundations, provision and installation of the telecommunications tower, and provision of technical drawings and tower manufacturer specifications, all materials for which shall be provided by the Contractor. 4. It shall be noted that a mandatory site visit shall form part of the solicitation exercise in order for vendors to examine the site. 5. 1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct two competitive solicitation exercises for the following projects: a. Supply and installation of solar street lights within the United Nations Protected Area (UNPA) in Nicosia. The requirement includes, but is not limited to the following: - the provision of all necessary equipment (including lighting, poles, distribution board and cables). - the construction of concrete bases. - the excavation to open and cover trenches for the laying of underground cables. b.
