Nach dem Kanton intensiver Verhandlungen wurde eine mit neue gebündelte Linienführung erarbeitet und vom Bundesamt für Energie genehmigt. 

Die neue Leitungsführung sieht vor, ab dem der Kreuzungspunkt bestehenden Swissgrid und SBB-Leitung südlich von Altdorf, entlang der eine Gemeinschaftsleitung Autobahn bis zum Anschluss zu erstellen Axenstrasse.

Die Arbeiten Tiefbau-werden in 2 Etappen aufgeteilt; für jede ist eine Etappe separate Ausschreibung vorgesehen.

The new line is expected from the current intersection between the two lines of swissgrid and SBB south of Altdorf, and will follow the road until the connection with the Axenstrasse.

The civil works will be divided into 2 stages; each step is provided a different tender.

A phase-shifting transformer 380 kV / 220 kV with a rated power of 800 MVA complete the Chippis substation (Creux de Chippis). The transformer is designed as longitudinal and transverse control transformer in order to regulate the active power and reactive power. The transformer consists of three single-phase transformers (pole) which together form a three-phase transformation, a reserve center and tertiary connections (low voltage connections, fully insulated bus bar) All mentioned components form the new group of processors to build.
