Project Fv 545 Sagvåg bridge is a complex project with the establishment of new bridge structures on the side of existing Sagvåg bridge, road improvements, the creation of sidewalks and universal design of bus bays associated road project. There will also be edge beam of concrete on natural stone as well as the erection of bridge parapets and Noise on natural stone. The project is part of the toll package Stord's west side. It will also be built on existing road lighting installations and once road system. The outdoor areas and walking road systems must be adapted to the new vegkurvaturen and local exits must be decontaminated and adapted to the new road alignment. Work will be performed while existing road network and existing bridge will be in operation as county.

The contract work is on the E16/national road 2 between Kongevegen and Tjernsberg veg in Kongsvinger municipality, just north of the centre of Kongsvinger. This stretch is approx. 2.2 km and the site stretches from profile number 350-2100. The project will be implemented model-based. Diversions and temporary bridges used in this contract have been constructed in a preparatory contract. This contract work comprises, amongst other things: — Take over of the site with diversions and temporary bridges, the accompanying work warning plan, signs and protection, operation and maintenance of the site as if it was the contractor's own. — Moving the necessary cables and pipelines for the site work — New surface water system for new installations and adaptations to the existing system. — Construction of 2.2 km new foot and cycle path from Kongevegen to Tjernsbergs veg — New roundabout in the junction E16/national road 2 x Kongevegen — New Norsenga bridge over the railway, Solørbanen and Grensebanen. — New Vingersnoret bridge and the river Noret — Height adjustment of the road line from Kongevegen to Masterudvegen where the road body shall also function as flood protection — New street lights, noise reduction screens, planting — Necessary side measures, alterations to local roads and access roads — Demolition of temporary bridges and the accompanying diversion roads These areas shall be returned to how they were before the work started in the preparatory contract. The model for the project will show how these areas shall be prepared. — Norsenga bridge goes over the railway at Norsenga timber terminal The old Norsenga bridge had a restriction of max 50 tons total weight, and this will now be increased to 60 tons with the new bridge. New requirements for headroom over the railway means that the road must be raised so that the height of the new Norsenga bridge is adapted. The new Norsenga bridge is a wooden truss bridge with a wooden cover, total 94.5 m long, divided between three spans and founded on pointed concrete piles. The bridge will have 2 lanes and a foot and cycle path. — The new Vingersnoret bridge is a deck bridge in reinforced conrete, total length 33 m, founded on friction piles. The bridge will have 2 lanes with resistant kerbstones against the foot and cycle lane.

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (SVV) has been tasked with investigating technical solutions to replace all ferry services on E39 with fixed connections. Altogether there are eight ferry services along the route, and five of these fjords are too broad and deep for traditional bridge and tunnel technology to be used. The fjords concerned are Bjørnafjorden, Sulafjorden, Sognefjorden, Halsafjorden and Vartdalsfjorden, and it is ‘Ferry Free E39 sub-project Fjord Crossing’ that has the task of developing concepts for safe and effective crossing of these fjords. The concepts that have been investigated so far fall primarily into three categories: Pontoon bridge, hereunder floating bridge with tension leg anchored towers (TLP type), side anchored floating bridge and floating bridge with only end-anchoring. — Suspension bridge with one or more spans, including suspension bridge on floating foundations. — Submerged floating tunnel, hereunder tension leg anchored or pontoon stabilised. The concepts have different challenges, but commonly they are all very long, slim structures, with significant dynamic stress from wind and waves. The dimensions will vary from fjord to fjord, and between concepts, but the typical bridge length is between 3 000 m and 5 000 m. With the exception of the tunnel bridge, evaluation of wind and wind power is an extremely important part of the design work. It is therefore necessary to carry out experiments in a wind tunnel.

Framework agreements with be signed with three tenderers in each sub-contract.

New g / bicycle bridge over Glomma

Sarpsborg municipality will build a 155 meter long bridge for pedestrian and bicycle traffic over Glomma between Opsund and Hafslundsøy. The bridge must be carried out as a spennbåndsbru and spans 125 m free of Glomma with in situ abutments. It will be built by 37stk prefabricated concrete with 19stk different geometries. The transition between the element and abutments should plasstøpes a length of 7 meters on both sides. The items should be hung on cables stretched between abutments. Country vessels shall be anchored in rock with mountain anchors. In addition, it should be hung 2pcs water mains and 2 x kabeltrekkerør under the bridge that connects the existing VA-trenches on both sides of Glomma. Existing VA route on Opsund page must be on a length of about 100 meters apart because of the new abutments.
