As per our joint contracting programme other bodies that could potentially be interested in accessing the agreement include NWUPC (North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium), NEUPC (North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium), LUPC (London Universities Purchasing Consortium), SUPC (Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium), TPL (TUCO Purchasing Ltd.), APUC (Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges) and HEPCW (Higher Education Purchasing Consortium, Wales). CPC reserves the right during the period of this agreement to make additions to or subtractions from the list of participating Institutions and Consortia. The right is also reserved to negotiate the inclusion of other users who are outside the main scope of this Framework Agreement. The estimated framework value is about £11million over a four year period and is split into the following 10 Lots: LOT 1 – PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) This lot is for the supply of safety footwear, hazard protection clothing, safety gloves, personal protection equipment, any associated products and services including but not limited to shoe fitting service, face fit testing service, face fit training service, prescription safety glasses/eye wear service and personalisation services. LOT 2 – First Aid Kits, Equipment and Accessories This lot is for the supply of first aid kits, equipment and accessories including first aid kits, equipment and supplies, health and safety gloves, dressings and wound care, bio hazard and hygiene including but not limited to supply and installation, trainings and preventative maintenance of training equipment such as manikins, simulators and defibrillators. LOT 3 – Corporate Wear and Uniforms This lot is for the supply and personalisation of corporate wear, work wear and uniforms. LOT 4 – School Uniforms and PE Kit This lot is for the supply and personalisation of school uniforms. LOT 5 – Security Uniforms This lot is for the supply and personalisation of security uniforms. LOT 6 – Hair and Beauty Uniforms This lot is for the supply and personalisation of hair and beauty uniforms. LOT 7 – Sports Clothing This lot is for the supply and personalisation of sports clothing. LOT 8 – Food Industry Clothing This lot is for supply and personalisation of food industry clothing. LOT 9 – Medical and Laboratory Clothing This lot is for the supply and personalisation of medical and laboratory clothing. LOT 10 – One Stop Shop Suppliers that have bid for and are successful in Lots 1 - 9 inclusive at the award stage will be awarded a place on Lot 10. There is no tender documentation for Lot 10 and to be awarded to this Lot a potential supplier must be successful in all Lots 1 to 9. Members have the right to utilise the e-auctions during the further competition/ call-off stage of the supplier selection.

Framework Agreement for the supply of Healthcare Uniforms, Workwear including Footwear and Personal Protective equipment and clothing (non-medical). Uniform spend is prevalent within the Non-Clinical Supplies and Services category, and has been identified as an area where NHS organisation can deliver efficiencies through rationalising and standardising garment/product requirements. Lot 1 Healthcare Uniforms will include a range of healthcare uniforms, including but not limited to tunics, dresses, scrubs and trousers, as well as associated accompanying items. Lot 2 Workwear including Footwear will include a range of protective and corporate wear including footwear. Lot 3 Personal protective equipment and clothing will provide personal protective clothing and equipment to equip non-medical staff in a health and safety environment.

WCC - Recycling of textiles from HWRCs in Warwickshire 2016

Warwickshire County Council is looking for the provision of clothing, shoes and textiles reuse/recycling service which will include all of the following elements: a) the provision of appropriate Containers at 8 Collection Points/HWRCs, b) the collection and onward transportation of Goods from 8 Collection Points/HWRCs, and c) the reuse and/or recycling of the Goods Clothing, shoes and textiles are currently collected in secure banks. As an incentive for residents to donate at HWRCs, 10% of the authority’s net income will be forwarded to the charity, Guide Dogs. We would expect the contractor to allow for the promotion of this partnership on all banks supplied. South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SWYPFT) is a specialist NHS organisation that provides community, mental health and learning disability services to the people of Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield. The Trust also provides some medium secure (forensic) services to the whole of Yorkshire and the Humber. SWYPFT is seeking a supplier to provide a collect and return laundry service to five main sites across the trust which will incorporate an estimated 13500 pieces of linen per week. The service shall include but is not limited to the laundering of flatwork, duvet covers, curtains, patients clothing and other items of general linen.
