Procurement is a key area of West Dunbartonshire Council, with a focus on the following categories: People, Place, Corporate and Procurement Development. The business delivering areas aligned to these categories are as follow:
People – Community Health and Care, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Addictions, Children’s Health and Care and Criminal Justice, Housing and Employability, Learning and Attainment, Strategy Planning and Health Improvement.
Place – The Place based team are responsible for all procurement and supply chain activities relating to construction works, building refurbishments, roads & infrastructure, technical/civil consultancies, waste services and building materials – spanning Housing, Environmental & Economic Development, Education and Health & Social Care.
Corporate – ICT, HR, Business Consultancy, Vehicle Management, Transport, Utilities, Finance and Legal, Security, Stationery and Consumables, Soft FM, Mail and Document Management, Print and Design, Marketing and PR, Educational Materials and Equipment, Removals and Storage, Furniture and Furnishings, Clothing and PPE.
