Daa wish to engage within a framework agreement a stable, consistent, reliable and ethical supplier of uniforms garments and accessories to daa staff operating at Dublin and Cork Airports. Over the life of this contract locations maybe added or reduced as the business needs change. This RFI seeks responses from perspective suppliers for the provision of items to include but not limited to formal uniforms (including Airport Police and Fire Service), corporate and work-wear uniform garments, personal protective equipment (to include body armour and fire fighters protective clothing and accessories) to daa. The contract will also require maintenance and repair of fire fighter protective clothing.
This PIN is to inform economic operators that BSO Procurement and Logistics Service, PaLS, intends to issue a tender to establish a new contract on behalf of the Public Health Agency Northern Ireland which will include the supply, packing, storage and delivery of a range of ‘keep warm’ packs to support the Regional Keep Warm Keep Well Scheme for Vulnerable Adults and Children in Northern Ireland.
The exact details of the contractual arrangement are yet to be decided however for guidance purposes it is envisaged that the scope of the procurement will include the following: Supply of clothing and other items including underwear to assist vulnerable adults, children and babies in keeping warm at home. The current packs contain hats, gloves, scarfs, blankets, gilets in a range of adult male, female and unisex child sizes. Packing items in an individually sealed and transparent waterproof pack clearly labelled with pack type size and gender. Appropriate storage of packs is required. Delivery of packs throughout NI to approx. 25 delivery points. Estimated annual contract value is 140 000 GBP. Estimated total packs per annum is currently 5500. Estimated contract start 1.8.2017, with delivery of packs due to commence September/October 2017. Contract duration 3 years with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) and not a call for competition. The Office of Government Procurement intends to invite submissions from companies / organisations with expertise and capability relating to the manufacture and supply of clothing, uniforms and footwear. These would involve the establishment of a number of Framework Contracts. This process is a statement of potential contracts during the next 12 months but is not a commitment to purchase. The Office of Government Procurement does not require a response to this Prior Information Notice.
Our aim is to establish a framework agreement for Ceremonial Gown and Photography Services for member institutions across the 6 participating consortia located in the UK. No business whatsoever is guaranteed under any resulting framework agreement or contract and, indeed, there is no guarantee that any framework agreement or contract will be put in place in relation to this notice. No compensation/etc will be paid if a tender or resulting framework agreement is withdrawn for any reason. Providers should take part in the process only on the basis that they fully understand and accept this position.

It is Fáilte Ireland's intention to use the negotiated procedure to appoint a single party merchandising licensee/concessionaire to become, under licence, The Official Souvenir Merchandising Partner for our Experience Brands. In this regard we are conducting a market consultation process to determine what solutions there are in the marketplace. The final procurement strategy to be implemented will be advised in the Contract Notice.
Interested parties are invited to submit information as detailed in the attached Market Consultation document. All applications will be assessed and meetings held with selected interested parties. Response to this process does not in any way prejudice future participation in the subsequent procurement competition for the concession.
