Wandsworth Borough Council is inviting tenders from suitably experienced and qualified contractors for the provision of internal and external cleaning, litter picking and sweeping of up to 45 schools (including; a nursery, special, primary and secondary schools) located throughout the Borough. Because of the nature of the services delivered at Schools, the Council requires an enhanced cleaning service to be carried out as and when required and the Contractor's staff shall be DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked for working in the vicinity of children and/or young vulnerable adults. The Contract will be for a period of 6 years (72 months) commencing on 25.7.2017 with an option for schools to opt out after 3 years as well as the option of a four-year (48 months) extension subject to the mutual agreement of both parties before the termination of the Contract. The estimated value of the contract over the initial term of 6 years and the potential extension period of 4 years is 15 500 000 GBP.
The Contract for Cleaning and Associated Services includes cleaning of about 90 buildings which include the Town Hall, Community Centres, Children and Nursery Centres, Libraries, Idea Stores, other general office accommodation, some park buildings, depots and public toilets in 1 park.

The contract is for the cleaning of the market as well as waste management which includes collection of waste, recycling and disposal. Waste generated on site equals, on average, 12 — 13000 tonnes of mixed associated market waste per year i.e. organic, cardboard, timber, plastic, polystyrene etc. Within the contract there is an emphasis on 0 % landfill, over 95 % recycling, and cost reductions/incomes regarding recyclables.
Notting Hill Housing's (NHH) Home Options service are inviting suppliers experienced in delivering minor maintenance projects to join NHH’s Approved List, which will be managed through Construction Line. Home Options’ provides temporary accommodation through the management of units owned by third parties. NHH’s responsibility for these units extends to maintaining the property to the same standard from when the property became the responsibility of NHH. The scope of works for this Approved List is restricted and only includes, works involving making defects good, repairs to faulty fixtures and fittings provided by the Property Owner and clearance and cleaning services once a property has become void This Notice is to last 12 months from the date of publication and includes all minor building works projects. The combined value is less than £4 million per annum across 2,300 properties. Each individual project is estimated to be less than £1,000
